iPhone display jumper Solutions

12 November 2024|GENERAL SOFTWARE

 step by step procedure

  1. 1. Review the Screen Feeds: Check the supply voltage; if it’s above 0.600mV, regulate the supply by “shocking” the line. If the power supply is too small, a jumper needs to be made.
  2. 2. Review on Diode Scale:Look for any “OL” (Over Limit) lines using a diode scale. If an OL line is found, identify the faulty line and use the provided material to find test points for making jumpers.
  3. 3. Look for Oxidation: Remove the screen bezel and inspect for any signs of oxidation.
  4. 4. Visual Analysis by Flex Without ARO: Perform a visual inspection of the flex cable to identify any broken or blown tracks.
  5. 5. Measure Power Supply by Flex Without RIMS: Take measurements on the supply lines of the flex cable.
  6. 6. Change the Flex: If all previous steps fail to identify a fault and everything appears to be working correctly, the internal flex cable is likely the issue and should be replaced.
